The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart Played Rickshaw - Review, Pics

If you happened to scour craigslist for tickets to the The Pains of Being Pure at Heart show last Tuesday, well, you definitely were not alone. After a delicious dinner at the incredibly solid Flour and Water, we headed over to the Rickshaw Stop for the sold-out show.

Because we adored the album so much, we were a little curious as to how they would perform in a live set - alas, we were not at all disappointed. The New York band performed most (if not all) songs from their debut full-length album, showcasing their harmonious indie-pop sound much to the delight of the excited crowd.

The crowd was not alone in their excitement, and the band seemed happy to be on stage. With Peggy Wang beaming down at the crowd between songs and Kip Berman chatting up the audience with a smile, there was little doubt that a good time was had by all.
