Frightened Rabbit Has A Daytrotter Session

Frightened Rabbit At Bottom Of The Hill, From The HAD Archive

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. -- Ferris Bueller

In our feverish pursuit and love of Frightened Rabbit last Fall, we managed to completely miss the fact that they stopped in at Daytrotter to do a killer studio session. The session, which features tracks from both of the band's studio records, is a fantastic take on their sound, and offers up a fair dose of the added rawness that makes their live show stand up to their studio greatness.

We're currently hooked on a chilled-out version of "Backwards Walk", but the rest of the recordings certainly manage to more than hold their own. Apparently the band is back in studio, so we're guessing you'll hear some new material when they hit the Independent in September. Meanwhile, head to Daytrotter to check out the rest of the session now.
