Jonathan Richman Coming To The Great American

When we saw Jonathan Richman open for Yo La Tengo last fall, we mentioned that it felt much more like a double bill than an opener/headliner type of thing. Well, apparently people agreed with us, as Richman is now headlining his own show at the Great American on December 7th. Richman's live show is definitely must see, and the level of charisma he brings to the stage is simply not demonstrable with the written word. Highly recommended. Tickets go on sale this Sunday at 10 AM.
