Jason Collett Prepping New Record, Plotting Summer Tour

While details are still sparse, we were intrigued to hear mention from Arts and Crafts that Jason Collett is working on the followup to 2008's Here's To Being Here. The record's not dropping until later in the year, but Collett has lined up a west coast tour to preview some of the new songs in public.

The tour will be a quick one, supporting The Weakerthans, and will include a San Francisco stop at Great American. It's been a while since we've heard from Collett, and we're definitely fans of his distinctive style of pop - it'll be nice to get out there and see what he's got cooking.
