The Sundays: "Summertime"

Well, it's snowing on the east coast, and raining on the west: it's definitely the middle of winter. That being what it is (nothing we can do about it, sorry), we figured it was the perfect time for a dose of poppy summertime goodness. Specifically, The Sundays' "Summertime".

The tune does a masterful job at toeing the line between pop goodness and complete cheese (synth hornlines, anyone?). In the end the jangly guitars, killer melody, and sick slide outro all serve to firm up the awesomeness of this song. At least it'll get you through the cold weather, right?
